Gonavian Ginger Beer Part II (Gonavian jenjanm byè Pati II)
So some of the things I am coming up with for this Ginger Beer, which I mentioned would have an ABV of 8-9%, would include lemon and lime juice in it's makeup. Not only would it contain lemon and lime juice as well as the actual lemons and limes. Of course you will not see the lemons or the limes when the beer is fully fermented, but the beer will lack hops. Hops is usually a mainstay in beer and very essential. Due to the make up of Ginger Beer, it will lack hops, but will still have a malt extract of some type, possibly a Pale DME. I know all of this may not mean much to you, but trust me, the flavor will be wonderful. Also the beer will contain a large amount of honey. So stay tuned to the Gonavian Ginger Beer, as I dive into making of this beer. Who knows it could be one of the largest produced beers in the Caribbean.
